Ultra Nano Indentation Tester |
|
The Ultra Nano Hardness Tester is the
highest accurate Nano Hardness Tester on the market. The nano indentation
technique is part of a recent range of instruments known as Depth-Sensing
Indentation (DSI), the penetration depth being continuously monitored as a
function of load during the indentation test. This technique has been largely
used to evaluate mechanical properties of materials at the nanometer scale,
especially hardness and elastic modulus. Given the range of depths (nm) and
forces (µN) involved, the accuracy of the measured penetration depth and force
is therefore essential for this method, and the incertitude of the corresponding
depth and force measurements has a direct influence on the accuracy of results.
This paper introduces a new high resolution nano indentation apparatus with an
ultra low thermal drift. |

The Nano-Hardness Tester(s) can be used in the analysis of organic and inorganic
soft and hard coatings. Examples are thin and multilayer PVD, CVD, PECVD,
photoresist, paints lacquers, and many other types of films, covering optical,
micro- electronic, protective, decorative and other applications. Substrates can
be hard or soft, including metal alloys, semiconductors, glass, refractive and

Nano Indentation Xpress |

The Nano Indentation Xpress is the cost
effective solution for Industry and Quality Control (QC) applications.
This instrument allows
measurement of the Hardness and Elastic modules with a very simple interface.
The Xpress concept of ease-of-use enables quick and reliable
measurements for your QC and product development departments. The instrument is
delivered with complete software that allows the user to predefine the
measurement protocol. After protocol definition, it is exported via a USB memory
card which is then inserted in the front panel of the Nano Indentation Xpress
machine. Once the card has been entered, a simple press of the "start" button
will start the test protocol. |
