During storage or preparation, hydrocarbons can be deposited on the sample surface. Hydrocarbon deposits interfere with high-resolution image analysis. The ZONETEM II Sample Cleaner uses vacuum controlled UV irradiation and activated oxygen to gently “clean” the sample surface.
